What is the difference between classical and modern astrology?

Classical astrology (Hellenistic + Medieval Arab-Persian + Renaissance) uses the seven traditional planets, the five essential dignities, the tropical zodiac, and specific techniques: profection, firdaria, time-lord systems, hyleg/alcocoden, sect (diurnal/nocturnal), antiscia. Interpretation is concrete and event-based.

Modern astrology is psychology-oriented; it uses asteroids and outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) and offers more symbolic-internal readings. Most tools on this site come from the classical tradition.

What astronomical engine powers the calculations?

All planetary positions use VSOP87 ephemerides; the Moon uses ELP2000, the modern astronomical standard. Fixed stars are computed in ICRS coordinates with precession correction. Accuracy is at the arcsecond level.

Can I download results as PDF?
