The technique of treating one house as another house's 1st house and recounting the other houses accordingly; widely used in horary astrology.
The house that represents a person or topic is taken as the first house, and the meanings of the remaining houses are reassigned from it. For example, the 9th house is the 3rd house from the 7th (the spouse's sibling).
