1 Monthly Progression
The year is divided into twelve equal steps: each month the Sun advances 30° from its natal degree. Month 1 is the return itself. Each row gives the Ascendant rising for that month; read the month's theme together with the return Ascendant.

Every 4 days from the return moment to the target date rotate the wheel by 1° (solar-arc style). The directed MC and all return points shift by this arc; hard aspects landing on natal and return points (orb 1°) give the trigger date within the year.

Starting from the return Ascendant, each month advances one sign. That month's sign and its traditional ruler (lord of the period) show the master of the month; the condition of the period lord in the return chart colors how the month unfolds.

11 Precession-Corrected SR (PCSR)
Some schools compute the return not tropically but precession-corrected: instead of the Sun's natal longitude, the return is timed to a target with the precession accumulated over the intervening years (about 50.29″/year) added. The result is a moment a few days off the tropical return.
